Curiosity almost killed the elk?
On a late September day, a member from Switchback Outdoors got up close and personal with a young elk.
The hunter was hoping to bugle in a mature elk, but this little fellow came in and offered a unique experience.
Watch this little elk get within petting distance.
I wonder who’s heart was beating faster? Probably the hunter, since getting that close to an elk on any occasion is unique. Plus, I don’t think the calf knew what it was looking at.
Watching the ears of the young calf was comical and showed how determined it was to figure out what was standing in front of it.
And this is why we love being so close to nature.
