“It’s too big for the net!”
For any kid, there’s nothing more fun than catching a big fish with your dad. 10-year-old Sasha Wheeler of Grand Haven, Michigan has no shortage of those. The girl has already made Michigan’s master angler list 12 times!
But this latest catch may be even more memorable than most. Watch her land a huge 41-inch flathead catfish in front of a crowd on a pier. It’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face on this Father’s Day weekend!
That’s a heck of a catfish and a very unique way to net it too. Her father, Brooks Wheeler, believes the fish will be large enough to qualify Sasha as a 13-time master angler now. In case you’re wondering, it isn’t the first time she’s caught a fish of this caliber.
Sasha has also caught a 30-inch freshwater drum, 36-inch carp, and a 41-inch Chinook Salmon. We’ll have to keep any eye out to see what she does for an encore to this flathead catfish!
Congrats Sasha, on your awesome catch!
