When two great African predators meet, who will get to eat and who will be left hungry?
Watch what happens when a crocodile meets leopards in the African bush.
It seems the two big cats just want to share dinner. But apparently crocodiles aren’t ones for sharing.
In this case, I guess the crocodile’s size just plain trumps the leopard’s athletic ability and agility.
I’m no expert on African animals, but I’m guessing these two animals don’t interact very often. Why else would a leopard be willing to take a chance taking a bite out of the croc’s meal while it was still in its jaws? I’d be curious to find out how this unique encounter began.
Things like this are why I love the Internet. Where else can you get a window into a far-away place and a unique encounter like this?
So what do you guys think? Did the leopards give up too easily? Do you think they could have taken the crocodile if they had wanted that meal enough?
