Clowns have been spotted lurking in the woods, and everyone should be aware.
Across the nation, reports of creepy clowns lurking in the woods are being filed, and police say “it is not funny.”
Over the last few months, police in the Carolinas have been receiving multiple calls about clowns with white painted faces acting strange. In one instance, it was reported the clowns were attempting to lure kids into the woods with money.
Initially, the strange clowns in the woods were thought to be part of a guerilla marketing campaign for the Stephen King’s movie It, which is about an evil clown that terrorizes a group of young boys.
You might think the increase in strange clown population is related to Rob Zombie, but it was reported that the wave of scary clowns was not associated with the film. Officials are urging the mask-wearing clowns to stop lurking in woods.
With archery season opened in some states and even more opening October 1st, be sure to stay safe and aware of your surroundings.
