Concealed carry permit holder scares off would-be robber in Michigan.

A would-be robber in Michigan picked the wrong guy to target as a victim this past weekend.

Mlive.com reports an unnamed 54-year-old man approached and targeted an unnamed 62-year-old on North Normal Street in Ypsilanti. The robber seemingly implied he had a gun with a hand partially in his pocket. He then told the victim he would shoot him if he didn’t empty his pockets of valuables.

That ended up being a huge mistake because the victim was a concealed carry permit holder. The robber ended up fleeing after his intended victim pulled out his handgun and pointed it at the robber.

Police later caught the suspected robber a short ways away on Worden Street and took him off to jail.

The news of this incident comes hot on the heels of news about a concealed carry holder shooting and killing an attempted armed robber at a gas station in Chicago.

The fortunate news about this incident in Michigan is the suspected robber was caught and no one else was hurt in the incident.
