Colorado Home Security Cam Catches 3 Mountain Lions in a Backyard

Three big cats were caught on a homeowner’s security camera.

Most homeowners with a motion activated security camera in their yard are likely used to only seeing small animals like rabbits or raccoons walking through their yard. But one Colorado homeowner got quite the surprise when not one, not two, but three mountain lions appeared in her footage!

This footage was shot Friday at around 8 p.m. in Steamboat Springs. The unnamed homeowner told CBS Denver 4 she usually only gets rabbits and porcupines on the footage.

No word on what her reaction was, but it had to be unnerving. Especially considering one of her neighbors discovered a half-eaten deer in the area that may be a likely victim of these three.

That’s some pretty crazy video. Having one caught on cam would be enough, but three mountain lions?!? I’ve had a few coyotes in the backyard, but never anything this exciting. What’s the craziest, weirdest wildlife that’s walked through your backyard?
