Check These Closed Michigan DMUs Before This Weekend’s Early Antlerless Season

Here are the Michigan DMUs closed for the early antlerless firearm season.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources shared word of the numerous closed deer management units (DMUs) across the state, which will be off limits for this weekend’s early anterless firearms season.

The two-day hunt starting Saturday, September 19 and stretching to Sunday, September 20 is a private land-only opportunity, but signifies the first official guns season for deer in Michigan.

It’s important to know that all of the Upper Peninsula is closed for the early anterless season. The map below shows the opened and closed DMUs.
