Watch a Mossberg semi-auto 12ga. spit out some dragon’s breath ammunition and light up the evening sky.
YouTube user tnoutdoors9 has shared some of the fun of shooting one of our favorite incendiary ammo loads and it’s not even the fourth of July yet!
Sit back and enjoy for a moment, but take note of some of the issues involved with it such as cycling problems and hulls getting stuck in the port.
As stated in the video the lighter loads were a pain in the butt, but the bigger, badder buckshot fired without a hitch.
The dragon’s breath and other incendiary ammos should always be used with care especially in drier weather. Caution should be taken as the magnesium based shards in the loads burn at a temperature of around 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit!
These pyrotechnic shells are no joke, but they are a lot of fun. Stay safe and keep shooting!
