Catch of a Lifetime: This Ice Fishing Proposal Almost Melts the Ice

Here’s an ice fishing proposal for everyone to remember.

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but for one ice fishing couple, things got much more serious. Andrew Stimson proposed to his girlfriend Alicia Redding while ice fishing on Valentine’s Day Sunday.

While recording a video depicting the day of fishing and his love for his girlfriend Stimson decided to drop to one knee and pop the question in a creative way that will live on forever thanks to this video.

The hunting and fishing couple have been dating for two and half years. One report indicated Redding was really shocked about the proposal. She stated,

“I didn’t think it was going to happen for a while. We were making the video and before I knew it he was down on one knee proposing. It was a really exciting moment.”

A month prior to the proposal, Redding had asked to go ice fishing on Valentines and eat their fresh fish for dinner. That’s when Stimson knew it’d be the day he’d ask her to marry him.
