Can You Count How Many Dolphins Are Swimming Alongside This Fishing Boat?

See if you can tell how many dolphins surround this boat in the Channel Islands.

Sometimes it seems offshore fishermen have all the fun when it comes to nature encounters.

Watch this mesmerizing video shot off the coast of Guernsey, one of Britain’s Channel Islands.

Rick Ferbrache, a 55-year-old angler, caught the footage

“We were fishing off the south coast of Guernsey and we were making our way back to St. Peter Port when we saw the dolphins in the distance coming towards us,” he told the Daily Mail. “These were proper dolphins and they weren’t stopping. We regularly see them through the summer – between eight and ten is the norm. I have never seen this many when I have been out before.”

Now we’ll await the next opportunity that a fishing boat gets to capture these sorts of things. Whales, perhaps? Just so long as this doesn’t happen…
