What Happens When You Shoot a Shotgun Slug Backwards? This

What would happen if you shot a shotgun slug backwards?

Taofledermaus wondered about this, too, so he loaded up some backwards slugs.

Watch this video and see if backward bullet engineering actually works.

Flying backwards, a shotgun slug is less than aerodynamic by a long shot. Accuracy, as can be guessed, is pretty dismal, but at close range the backwards slugs fired true out of a rifled shotgun barrel. Watching these nose-heavy slugs flying stable was quite a surprise.

Save your shotgun instead of trying this at home, and enjoy the slow motion destruction a backwards shotgun slug can cause.
