A quick trip to Lowe’s and a little elbow grease, and you’ve got yourself a homemade boat lift.
The most simple designs are often the best. When you don’t need a heavy-duty hydraulic lift, or just don’t want to fool with electronics and motors to get your craft out of the water, a boat lift is a great way to go.
Making one yourself for cheap is nice too.
The shopping list is easy – just PVC, conduit, concrete, 2 x 4s, and some hardware, and you’re in business. Now, I wouldn’t necessarily put a 21-foot center console on one of these, but it’s a great idea for smaller boats.
