Need a burner stove and forgot it? Here’s how to make one really quickly.
It seems that no matter how many times you go camping, you forget something. Most of time it’s not that big of deal. Solar cell phone chargers just take up extra space in your pack anyways. However, if you forget something that many feel is as essential as a burner stove, well it’s not the end of the trip, but it’s frustrating. Luckily, here’s how to make one using rubbing alcohol, cans, and a nail.
Odds are you don’t carry a nail with you while you are camping. However, you do probably carry some kind of incredible utility tool that would have a punch out somewhere in the mix of different components. Other than that, your first aid kit and cooler should be able to handle the rest. The sandpaper? Well, take it or leave it.
Now, after all that, it really wasn’t that hard was it? Kudos to the person who first figured this burner stove method out because their are ideas like this all over the Internet and YouTube now. This video just seems to be a little more practical than the often very elaborate other styles you see these days.
It’s just now really starting to turn into camping season as fall approaches. Here’s to not forgetting anything you need!
