This Norwegian mountain man, the Snow Cave Man, is the true outdoorsman.
The Snow Cave Man has lived in the Norwegian mountains in caves for 30 years.
He skis on his traditional wooden skis, sometimes in his undies, going from cave to cave making little shelters and living entirely off the land.
More from Wide Open Spaces:
The Norwegian documentary, Snøhulemannen, from 2010 follows Sverre Nøkling through his daily life skiing from cave to cave making them habitable.
His humor and rejection of consumer materialism make Sverre the true survivalist. He lives in the wilderness without the fancy new outdoor gear and really shows what it is to be free from modern society.
He lives among the reindeer, taking what he needs, and finds pleasure in skiing around in his undies.
What a life.
