The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is putting on a one-day clinic on wild pig hunting for hunters of all skills and backgrounds.

A one-day wild pig hunting clinic is being put on by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Advanced Hunter Education Program and Pacific Coast Hunter Education Association on April 18 in Lockwood in Monterey County.

The wild pig hunting clinic will cover hunting techniques, legal requirements, pig biology, and field dressing methods. Costing $45, this clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone 17 years and younger does not have to pay, but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Those who register will be advised on what to bring, and the CDFW will provide the heavy equipment. For more information on this wild pig hunting clinic and details about registration, click here.
