BulletSafe Debuts Bulletproof Baseball Cap at 2015 Shot Show [VIDEO]

BulletSafe

BulletSafe is well known for their ballistic vests, but now they have debuted their bulletproof baseball cap, a unique take on self protection.

Debuting at the 2015 SHOT Show, BulletSafe has introduced a NIJ level IIA baseball cap marketed toward law enforcement officers to give frontal protection and more approachable head protection for officers to wear all the time.

It is not a SWAT-style helmet, but its not meant to be that. A safe alternative, even for everyday use, is probably something law enforcement members have been asking for. The retail price is set to be $129.

Here’s a video of prototype tests from last month:

Check them out at the 2015 SHOT Show at booth #616.
