Bringin’ Home the Bacon: Recurve Bow Hog Hunting in Louisiana [VIDEO]

Recurve Bow Hog Hunting In Louisiana

This guy in Louisiana decided to give recurve bow hog hunting a shot and managed to bag a nice-looking boar. That hog never knew what hit him!

If you’ve ever wanted to try out recurve bow hog hunting, Louisiana may be the perfect state to go. Like many states down south, Louisiana has a very large population of feral hogs that is causing all sorts of problems for farmers.

In fact, there are so many hogs in some states that some hunters use all sorts of interesting weapons to hunt them, including elephant guns and suppressor equipped rifles. There are even outfits that specialize in hunting hogs at night with thermal optics popping up to help control the hog population.

However, this guy successfully demonstrates that you don’t necessarily need fancy or expensive equipment to go hog hunting and bag a hog or two.

Even though it looks like he only got one lung with his arrow, that hog still did not run very far.

Nice work! Now that’s what I call bringing home the bacon!
