Yes, you read that right: a Florida man was just arrested for throwing an alligator into a drive-through window.
In case you didn’t know, throwing a live alligator into a drive-through window is illegal. Joshua James just learned this lesson the hard way after getting arrested for throwing a three and a half foot alligator through a Royal Palm Beach, Florida Wendy’s drive-through window back in October.
It took the police a couple of months to track him down, but they finally caught him yesterday and are charging him with assault with a deadly weapon, illegally killing, possessing or capturing an alligator, and second-degree larceny petit theft.
His parents claim the James is a good person, but a prankster who just took this prank too far. What do you think?
In case you were wondering, the alligator is just fine. Fish & Wildlife officials captured the animal and returned it unharmed to the wild.
