You wouldn’t think missing elk semen would be a big deal, but trust us, it is.
Brandon Eldredge, a former employee of Early Morning Elk Ranch located in Idaho, is in pretty big trouble with the law. As it is being charged, Eldredge is facing one count of Grand Theft for allegedly stealing elk semen and inseminating multiple cow elk at another ranch with the stolen bull elk semen.
This strange case of missing elk semen was discovered in 2011 during an inventory counting process by Early Morning Elk Ranch. What makes matters even more worse, the other ranch that received the stolen goods paid Eldredge $3000 for his services.
This isn’t the first time that Eldridge has faced charges. In a case that was dismissed, he was charged by Early Morning Elk Ranch for stealing and selling elk antlers.
As is true for most things, when there is smoke, there is usually fire. It sounds like Early Morning Elk Ranch had to learn this lesson the hard way.
