A new name and a new vision is in store for the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame.
The Chairman of the IBFC board of directors claims a lack of a clear vision originally prevented them from growth and success. They have narrowed their vision for the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame to now “promote a greater appreciation and stewardship of fishing.”
The renovated grounds in Cullman, Alabama will host several ponds of fish for demonstrations. They aim to provide entertainment and education for the entire family. A boat and tackle showcase area will highlight innovative inventions in the fishing industry.
A 36,000-gallon aquarium will give visitors an up close and personal look at numerous bass species. The aquarium will be built by the popular Animal Planet show “Tanked.”
Thanks to one generous anonymous backer, the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame projects will come to fruition by the fall of 2016.
