Big Bear Goes for Casual Dip in Town Pool Because It’s Hot, Okay?

What is something that will for sure keep your neighbors from using your pool? How about a full grown bear.

If you own a pool, it is almost certain you will find some type of critter in them at some point of time. Large bugs, squirrels, snakes, frogs, or maybe your pet dog. But we can almost guarantee you have never found a full size bear soaking up the sun from your pool.

This female bear is well known around the community and lives nearby to this California neighborhood. Fish and Wildlife authorities have placed a red tag on her right ear for identifications purposes. The community gathered to take pictures and watch as the bear went from a casual dip in the pool and then on into a tree for a little nap before heading back to the woods.

Everyone loves a good pool day, and it seems that bears are no different. For the sake of this California neighborhood, we hope the bear doesn’t inform her bear friends about the luxurious pool day and nap she had.

Moral of the story is to make sure you check the pool before sending the kids out for a swim!
