Find out the details on the auction of one of President Trump’s cars.
The latest American presidential election was no doubt a historic one, and our friends at IronPlanet wanted to share word that you could now own a piece of that history, with the auctioning off of President Donald Trump’s formerly-owned Ferrari F430.
It will be offered as a feature attraction at Auctions America’s 15th annual collector car sale in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, March 31 – April 2. Regarded as South Florida’s premier collector car auction, the multi-day Fort Lauderdale sale will lift the gavel on a diverse mix of 475 collector cars. Further information on the sale is available here.
The 2007 Ferrari F430 was bought new by President Trump, and the title includes his signature and Trump Tower office address. He owned the car for around four years and it was then bought by its second and current owner in 2011.
As the auction item description says: “To see a former or current President?s personal vehicle offered for sale is extremely rare. It?s highly likely Donald Trump is the only United States President to ever own a Supercar. This Ferrari F430 is very special and is sure to make an excellent addition to any collection.”
IronPlanet will be broadcasting the event live, and allowing people to bid virtually. Priority bidding will begin in about a week.
Sports cars owned by presidents aren’t the only thing IronPlanet (and its sister site GovPlanet) specialize in auctioning off and selling online. We were first turned on to them because of their impressive deals available on Humvees, which not only make great everyday vehicles in their own right, but can serve as incredibly effective ranch trucks or hunting camp wheels.
In fact, a ton of things that GovPlanet and IronPlanet deal with can be advantageous for a deer camp, a general outdoorsman, a survivalist, or anyone looking to save money on something like a flatbed trailer or generator.
So be sure to check out the Ferrari owned by the current President, but browse around the rest of the site’s offerings, and we bet you’ll find something useful.
