What happens when a black bear shows up on a college campus and climbs up a tree?
This two-year-old black bear got more than he bargained for when he wandered onto a campus near a residence hall at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
After it climbed 30 feet up into a tree, wildlife officials worked to relocate the animal.
Ouch. He probably still has a headache. Poor bear. I wonder why wildlife officials moved all the pads over to one side?
The bear lifts his head once after landing almost as if to say: “Wow, that hurt!”
The good news is, the University later reported in a Facebook post, that the bear was unharmed. Wildlife officials plan to relocate him somewhere away from people.
They also posted this perfectly timed photo of the bear “waving” as he was falling.
Hey, look at me! I’m falling out of a tree!
