Bass Fishing Hall of Fame Hosts Grand Opening Ceremony

The Bass Fishing Hall of Fame announces 2017 inductees at Grand Opening ceremony.

It might be the ultimate goal for anglers. Being inducted into the  Hall of Fame for battling largemouths could be the coolest thing on the planet.

Hosted by the Johnny Morris Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame held a grand opening of the new permanent exhibit on November 9th.

Bass Fishing Hall of Fame

The Bass Fishing Hall of Fame established itself in 1999. Currently the Hall of Fame has over 60 members. Current members include the likes of Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston, Johnny Morris, Ray Scott, and many others. President George H. W. Bush also happens to be a member.

BFHOF Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Johnny Morris Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium is home to a state of the art aquarium facility. The complex is home to more than 35,000 live fish, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and immersive wildlife. The aquarium itself holds 1.5 million gallons of water habitat. The facility held it's BFHOF Grand Opening ceremony on November 9th in Springfield, Missouri.

2017 inductees for the BFHOF include Wade Bourne, Shaw Grigsby, Bob Sealy, Morris Sheehan, and Louie Stout.
