Like ice cream? Support veterans? Do both on Veterans Day at any U.S. Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop.
Baskin-Robbins will donate 10 cents from each scoop of ice cream sold on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2014, to the USO in honor of U.S. troops, military families and veterans.
In addition to its Veterans Day donation, Baskin-Robbins is honoring the military community throughout November with its flavor of the month: First Class Camouflage. The special flavor combines chocolate, salty caramel and cake-flavored ice cream. A First Class Camouflage Layered Sundae, featuring the ice cream, Oreo cookie pieces, caramel praline topping, hot fudge and whipped cream, is also available.
Baskin-Robbins’ is taking part in the USO’s “Every Moment Counts” campaign with its support. The donation is for scoops in regular-priced cups and cones.
“We’re excited to honor our military service members and veterans this November through our long-standing partnership with the USO and hope our guests will join our efforts in supporting the USO on Veterans Day,” said Bill Mitchell, president of Baskin-Robbins U.S. and Canada and Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins China, Japan and Korea. Mitchell served as a captain in the U.S. Army.

The USO provides soldiers and their families a touch of home at military bases, centers and through quality entertainment and services. The USO’s “Every Moment Counts” campaign calls on all Americans to honor and create special moments for soldiers and their families.
To make their camouflage treats complete, guests can order their ice cream in a Camouflage Waffle Cone or Bowl decorated green, brown and tan.
Baskin-Robbins is also offering a special veteran’s incentive program for U.S. veterans who wish to open a Baskin-Robbins franchise.
