B.C. Salmon Run the Bases After Heavy Rains Flood Ball Diamond

B.C. salmon

Who says fish don’t like baseball? Salmon show up on flooded diamond in B.C. to celebrate world series win.

Here’s a sight you don’t often see: big old salmon, swimming merrily across the flooded field at a baseball diamond in Courtenay, British Columbia. This sure puts a new spin on the old local honey hole!

The unbelievable footage was captured on November 5 after heavy rains flooded low-lying areas throughout the region. One decision to make now: bring a ball glove or fishing rod to the park.

Doesn’t look as though any ball games will be played on that diamond for a while still! Here’s hoping the free-spirited salmon can find their way back to the river before all that water dries up.
