Dominic Aiello

Dominic came from a non-hunting family but started fishing and bowhunting whitetail deer in Michigan at a very young age. He moved to Oregon at 23 and since then his passion has turned into a healthy obsession. Dominic considers himself fortunate to be able to hunt the countries most difficult deer, blacktail, along with black bear, turkey, and waterfowl on the regular. He also enjoys mushroom hunting and fishing for salmon and steelhead. When he’s not spending time in the outdoors or writing for Wide Open Spaces, he’s helping new hunters as a Cabela’s Pro Staff member and fighting to protect hunters’ rights as president of the Oregon Outdoor Council.
