The auction features antlers seized from wildlife crimes and activities.
Live in Utah and looking for some antlers for a project? An upcoming auction by the Utah Division of Wildlife Services might be the answer.
The Division is planning to hold an auction of seized antlers and hides next Tuesday, May 24 in Salt Lake City. Up for bid will be hundreds of sets of antlers. Most of the items in the auction were seized by the Division in wildlife cases and forfeited due to illegal activities in the last four years.
While the majority of the auction appears to be antlers, there will also be some wildlife hides available.
The Division doesn’t hold these auctions very often. The last time they held one was in 2012. The auction is slated to happen at the Lee Kay Shooting Center at 6000 West 2100 South, Salt Lake City.
Anyone wishing to preview the items available for sale should show up earlier at 8:00 a.m. The auction itself is set to begin at 10 a.m.
If you’re looking for antlers for a project or just for your collection, it sounds like this auction might be the place to go.
