This Angler Hooked a Sailfish Until a 500-Pound Shark Wanted It Too

Off Florida’s Biscayne Bay, a captain took some anglers out fishing, but this 500-pound shark stole the show.

Captain Bouncer Smith of Bouncer’s Dusky 33 was ready for another normal day. For over 50 years he’s been doing the same thing: taking anglers out to sea so they can get their catches for pictures.

But on a Friday morning, Captain Smith saw something he had never seen before.

As the angler hooked a sailfish that was leaping out of the water, a 500-pound shark leaped through the air to have at it, too

While he didn’t want the whole thing, leaving the sailfish without a rear, the video is pretty incredible, right?

Captain Smith told NBC Miami,” This 500-pound shark was all the way in the air with a 60-pound sailfish in his mouth, like a dog with a bone.”
