Elkford, the British Columbia town with the fitting name, looks to be hosting a party, and all the big names are invited.
Talk about an elk party! This eye-opening video, filmed in the aptly named town of Elkford, British Columbia, shows a mass gathering of cow and bull elk during the month of October: prime rutting time.
Any guesses as to how many animals are gathered in this one field?

So why are they so scarce when we go hunting for them?
