Learn Why an Arizona Public Land Transfer is a Bad Idea

Arizona is one of many states that is pushing for public land transfer.

This public land transfer would take tens of millions of acres of BLM and National Forest Service lands and put them into the hands of the Arizona State Land Department, an agency that specifically states that “Trust Land is not public land!”

Okay, let’s review. If Arizona took control of lands that are currently open to the public, you would need a permit to set foot on the land, you couldn’t shoot on the land, and the land would more than likely be sold in the not-so-distant future.

I’m not sure who thinks this federal land transfer idea is a good one, but I sure don’t.
