An Anti-Hunting Image is Really Pissing off the Hunting Community [PICS]

An anti-hunting image was posted onto the Facebook group Raised Hunting, and it is causing quite a stir.

Yesterday, an image and a passionate letter about hunting written by a teenage hunter was posted onto Raised Hunting’s Facebook page.

The post explains how the photo must be either photoshopped or that the deer was hit by a car. It then becomes a passionate treatise of what hunting is all about and how anti-hunters are constantly trying to misinform the general population.

The writer of the post then pleads with the hunting community that in an answer to this image, instead of posting harvest and hunting photos, we need to educate and communicate with the non-hunting community.

The comments people have left on the post are mostly positive. They range from photos of people and their families out in the field to outrage that people would blame hunters for something so cruel.

Oftentimes the most drastic and dramatic photos get the most attention. But hopefully the people who see this disturbing image will stop and think about it for a second and realize the inconsistencies and absurdity of a “hunter” going after a doe and her fawn.

What do you think of the image? How should the hunting community respond?
