A large tarpon in 6 feet of water is pretty remarkable, but a sailfish is enough to make any anglers heart stop!
When you are creeping along the tarpon flat and suddenly spot a sailfish coming into casting range, I would imagine things start to get pretty tense. Well, Capt. Christian Yergens, from CNY On The Fly, recently found himself in that position.
While searching for tarpon on the panhandle of Florida a shot of a lifetime presented itself. A sailfish in 6 feet of water was approaching and nothing but adrenaline stood between them.

A day spent tarpon fishing is wild enough, but the events captured in this video certainly take the gold medal for fishing dreams coming true.
As an avid fisherman and fly enthusiast, I can tell you that a moments like this do not come around very often. They happen once in a lifetime at best.
