Adorable Baby White Fawn Spotted in Western Canada

Newborn white fawn causes stir in residential neighborhood.

Here's a horse of a different color, or at least a deer. A young fawn drew a bunch of extra attention recently for its unique coloration in a residential part of Abbotsford. Laura Bianchini captured a quick photo of the fawn with its mom and sibling on the road near her home.

The blacktail deer fawn is predominantly white with some small brown spots. While it's not considered ultra rare, the coloration of the fawn is certainly unique, and it's making for some adorable pictures.

The fawn was likely around a week old at the time of the photo.

Local conservation office Don Stahl said that a buck with similar coloration was hit by a car in the same area last year.
