I bet the heat from boiling lava really makes a marshmallow golden brown.

This guy definitely gets camper of the year award.

The brave Kiwi adventurer, Simon Turner, and his friend Bradley Ambrose hiked up to this lava lake inside the Marcum Crater in Ambrym, Vanuatu. Yeah, I didn’t know where that was either. (It’s an archipelago island between Fiji and Australia.)

Turner used a spare tent pole as his roasting stick and casually sips on a beer as he roasts his marshmallows. The lava lake is over 1,000 feet deep, filled with molten lava that reaches temperatures up to 2,000 F.

No big deal. A true outdoorsman will go to whatever lengths to get the perfect s’more.
