This simple decoy rigging tip will make your duck decoys look more alive and it is as simple as can be.
Break out the decoys on the lawn this summer and apply this simple decoy rigging tip which will change the way ducks come into your spread.
This is such a simple tip, but one that I never considered to make my spread look more relaxed and realistic. It is true that more alert and stressed ducks all face one way just before they take flight so by simply securing your decoy weight alternately between front and back they will sit more naturally on the water.
This is something I am going to definitely apply when I take out my decoys to touch them up and ensure the rigging is sound before the season kicks off.
