When many shooters think of shotgun slugs they may think of the soft lead foster style variety. They go over well with deer, but do not have great penetration capabilities.

Taofledermaus has some homemade .70 caliber polycarbonate and carbide slugs to test out. Will the .25 caliber penetrator core penetrate a AR500 level III armor plate? Indeed it will, as proven on this video footage.
