.68 Caliber Ball Bearing Turns a 12-Gauge into a Super-Sized BB Gun

What would shooting a .68 caliber BB gun be like?

Well, TAOFLEDERMAUS decided to find out.

Watch as .68 caliber steel ball bearings are shot from a shotgun.

We all shot BB guns as kids. Those steel BBs sure broke glass well, and were great for hours of cheap fun. Too bad they did not shoot bigger BBs…

All we needed was someone to supersize the BB gun. Steel ball bearings were loaded into shotgun shells. These big projectiles were .68 caliber, as apposed to the little .177 caliber BBs we’re used to.

These big steel balls fired from a shotgun sure hit hard. The BB gun has just been brought up to adult size.
