6-Barrel Flintlock Musket? Yes, Please

nock 6-barrel flintlock musket

What could be cooler than a 6-barreled flintlock musket?

xIan from Forgotten Weapons shows off this intriguing Nock 6-Barrel Flintlock Musket.

A British gunsmith named Henry Nock was well known for his musket building. This 6-barrel flintlock musket is one of his very remarkable creations.

This self-priming flintlock musket is manually rotated, allowing for six shots to be fired before reloading. This would allow the shooter to be many times faster in firing than a common single shot musket. Now, that was the “assault musket” of the day, for certain.

Ian from Forgotten Weapons brings us the facts on this very interesting weapon of the past. It certainly would come in handy even in this modern day for big game hunting with six quick shots.
