Check out these four must-have fall baits for bass fishing to keep the action going well past your usual summer angling season.

Some great pointers, not only for bait types, but also prime locations for catching those fall bass. Often times, we hang up the fishing gear and dedicate ourselves over to hunting when the leaves start to turn. This season, take a day or two to also get back on some bass fishing.
I just recently re-discovered the joy of fall bass fishing with my son. We concluded an early morning duck hunt, returned to the truck, swapped out guns for rods and headed back out on the water for some fishing. With no other anglers in sight, we were able to hook into some great bronze-backs. In the cooler water, they are vigorous fighters, showing all their great colors as they fatten up to survive the coming ice-over.
While your time is precious and you can’t ever do all the angling and hunting you want, take some time this fall and work in a few bass trips; you will be glad you did (and likely have the lake or river all to yourself).
