101 Isn’t Too Old to Go Fishing [VIDEO]

At 101 years old, Ruth Flickinger is proof that you’re never too old to go fishing.

Or too old to catch fish, either.

Flickinger used to fish with her husband and children but hadn’t thrown a line in the water for many years. So, the centenarian contacted the Wish of a Lifetime organization in Denver and wished to fish again.

The group, which works to help seniors keep dreaming and pursuing their passions, took Flickinger fishing at Swift Ponds in Fort Collins on July 31.

As she did earlier in her life, Flickinger went with family—and staff from Wish of a Lifetime.
