Chris Pratt has become one of the most popular faces in Hollywood, but you may not know just how much Chris loves the outdoors.
Almost every character Pratt plays is a fun, exciting, likable character. What we can assume, then, is that there is a pretty good chance that Pratt himself is also a fun, exciting, likable guy.
After perusing through his social media profiles, we have managed to find 10 pictures that show just how much Chris Pratt loves the outdoors.
Let’s start things off with a picture Pratt posted to Instagram following a day of charter fishing out of Grand Isle, Lousiania.
Looks like he had a pretty good day with a nice catch to take home.
Still in Lousiania for the filming of “The Magnificent Seven,” Pratt shows us what he does when he is not filming; and what he does is catch bass.

Just to show that Pratt is not a one-sport outdoorsman, here’s a shot he sent us during hunting season with one of his many hashtags reading #GodBlessTheRut.
Taking you back a little further in time, we see that Pratt has always been a fan of fishing. Not only does he like to catch big fish, he also eats them.
Thankful for these magnificent fish. Great time with captain MickO, his deckhand Mark, my bro Cully and good buddy Jared. Ate these last night. Much more today, tomorrow and the next day. A photo posted by chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) on
We can also see that Pratt is a fan of eating not only the fish that he manages to land, but also any crustaceans that he manages to get his hands on.
No word on if he actually caught these in the wild or just wanted to pose for an outstanding picture before commencing to cook.
Just in case you are wondering where Pratt’s love for the outdoors and especially fishing comes from, this post from his Twitter feed pretty much sums it all up.
Your to do list: 1)have kids 2)play outside 3)teach them to fish 4)take pictures Thanks Dad. Miss you man. pic.twitter.com/xvc83AMiSr

Moving away from hunting and fishing but staying with the theme of family, we can see a side of Pratt that shows how much he just enjoys nature and being in the outdoors.
This picture shows Pratt with his nephews out enjoying the winter wilderness somewhere near Lake Stevens, Washington where he was raised.

The next two are my personal favorites. Not just because of the beautiful scenery that Pratt was able to capture, but also the amazing caption that goes along with them.
I think that they are more than enough to prove that Pratt writes his own Instagram captions.
And then he followed it up with this gem:
Here’s another angle of my waterfall. I’ll probably name it something like Freedom Falls or JurassicWorldStarChrisPrattFalls or Humble Warrior Falls or something bad ass like that. You owe me one hundred thousand dollars because you can see both of my waterfalls. One belongs to my son. It’s called Jack Pratt Airborne Stream LLC. Officially. You have to pay taxes for seeing it. His is the same price as mine you don’t get a discount just because he’s just a boy. #SorryNotSorry you can just send money or a credit card number to me at “Humble Tiger Waterfall” A photo posted by chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) on
And last but not least, we have this beauty that Pratt posted last week while on the set for “The Magnificent Seven.”
Similar to the waterfall pictures, this one has quite a story that goes along with it.
I know I was joking earlier about this magnificent grasshopper I named Goliath. But all kidding aside I’d like to take a moment to be serious. I think this thing can read minds. I don’t have the vocabulary to describe what I mean. And I looked through all the emoticons and couldn’t find any that worked. But basically as I held Goliath he starting talking to me. Obviously not with his mouth. That’s impossible. But, and I know this sounds crazy, he spoke to me with his mind. He said, “Chris… Chris… They need you on set.” And I was just spacing out staring at this thing in awe… And like not two seconds later this PA named Bonnie came up and was like, “Chris! They need you on set.” And I was like, “WHAAAT!?!?” So basically, somehow, I don’t know how, maybe through radio waves or some kind of magic, Goliath read Bonnie’s mind and transmitted her message through ESP! SO THAT’S COOL! #MagnificentSeven #NinjaHopper
