I prefer bowhunting to gun hunting, and I have my reasons. I’ll tell you this, you can truly count yourself as a real hunter when you harvest a game animal with a bow and arrow. First up we have Bear Archery Method. This bow comes in at $649. The full package is only $100 more. It shoots at a blazing 340 FPS IBO and only weighs 4 pounds. You have the option of 50, 60, or 70lb limbs and it is 33inches axle to axle.
2. Bowtech Archery Carbon Knight
Next on our list is Bowtech Archery Carbon Knight offering. This bow shoots 335 FPS IBO and only weighs in at 3.2lbs.
It also has the option for 50, 60, or 70 pound limbs. It measures 31 inches axle to axle and fits a draw length of 26.5-30.5 inches. MSRP on this bow is $699.
3. Darton Archery DS-600
Next is a bow from Darton Archery, the DS-600. The bow itself is very customizable for the growing archer.
It has 4 different options for limbs, which are 40, 50, 60, and 70 pound. It is only 4 pounds, shoots 310 FIP IBO, and measures 31 and 3/8 inches axle to axle.
The next bow on our list is also by Bear Archery and it is the Finesse. This is for the lady who hunts, and weighs in at 3lbs, measures 28 and 5/8 inches axle to axle and shoots 285 FPS IBO.
The Finesse is a steal at only $499.99 for a full package.
5. Hoyt Archery Charger
Now comes the Hoyt Archery Charger. This is a highly rated bow that comes with a MSRP of $599.
It weighs in at 3.8 pounds and 31 inches axle to axle. t isn’t a slump when it comes to speed either; this bow shoots at 325 FPS IBO.
These guys have been making bows for quite some time. Martin Archery brings to us the Blade X4.
This bow shoots at 320 FPS IBO, is 31.5 inches axle to axle and only weights 3.75 pounds. It is also one of the less expensive bows on our list at $399.
7. PSE Archery Drive LT
Our next few bows come to us from PSE Archery, and it’s the Drive LT. This is a great bow that comes in at $499 MSRP.
It shoots a quick 336 FPS IBO and measure 31 inches axle to axle. The best part? It only weighs 4.3 pounds. This is going to be a deadly bow coming hunting season.
8. PSE Archery Verge Stiletto
Our next bow is the Verge Stiletto. This is another great bow for all those women who love to hunt.
It has a little more versatility with 40, 50, and 60 pound limbs. It also shoots 300 FPS IBO and weighs in at 3.5 pounds. If you guys are thinking of a gift idea for that huntress in your life, check this one out.
The last one of the bows from PSE that made it on our list is the Prophecy. This bow is one of our quickest ones for under $700.

10. Strother Archery Rush XT
The last bow on our list comes from Strother Archery, the Rush XT.
This is a great bow to round out our list. It weighs in at 4.25 pounds, and it takes the title of fastest bow on our list at 345 FPS IBO. It is a little bigger of a bow at 33 and 3/8 inches axle to axle, but if you prefer a longer bow, then this is the one for you.
