$1.5 Million Worth of Antlers Stolen From Ontario Taxidermy Shop

Advanced Taxidermy, a world-leading fish replica and reproduction studio, had $1.5M worth of antlers stolen August 12.

Thieves hit the Caledon, Ontario, location of Advanced Taxidermy at approximately 2:00 a.m. August 12, stealing a trailer containing 69 sets of moose, deer, and elk antlers. The value of the antlers is pegged at $1.5 million.

In addition to the 2008 Carm CC black enclosed trailer, a black 2011 Ford DRW pickup truck was also stolen, along with an additional trailer that contained two ATVs. All were taken from the parking lot.

Police say the second trailer was discovered approximately 10 km southeast of the shop, but the two ATVs were missing from inside. Police are unsure of how many suspects were involved and no descriptions have been given.
